Alexis Sanchez 'staying at Arsenal'
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez will not leave the club before this evening's transfer deadline, according to reports. The 28-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City on deadline day - a switch the player himself was understood to be keen on in order to reunite with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola and play Champions League football this season. The Gunners have repeatedly stated that Sanchez is not for sale despite being in the final year of his contract, but City tested their resolve with a £60m offer earlier today.
