Jack Wilshere is ‘considering his future’ at Arsenal as he eyes a place in England’s World Cup squad, according to reports. The 25-year-old’s last England cap came in the Three Lions’ humiliating 2-1 defeat to Iceland as they were knocked out of the 2016 European Championships. He has been told by manager Gareth Southgate that he has to be ‘playing at a good level’ to be considered for a possible return to the side. And, according to The Times, the midfielder is now considering leaving the Gunners to enhance his chances of regular game time before next summer’s tournament in Russia.
