Jack Wilshere could be the key to England’s 2018 World Cup hopes, former boss Glenn Hoddle has told talkSPORT. The midfielder – once billed as a future star of world football – has seen his career stall after a string of injury problems and did not play any part in the Three Lions' qualification campaign. But with Wilshere now back to full fitness and assured of more game time at Arsenal by boss Arsene Wenger, Hoddle is backing the 25-year-old to work his way back into contention ahead of next summer’s finals in Russia.
