Transfer report: Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in three-way battle for Monaco ace Thomas Lemar

Arsenal and Liverpool will have to fight off competition from Bayern Munich if they want to sign Thomas Lemar. The midfielder is one of the most wanted players in Europe at the moment and he almost left Monaco in the summer. Liverpool looked like signing the France international early on in the summer window and then Arsenal failed with a late deadline day bid. Bayern Munich, according to Kicker, are now in the mix too as they are considering signing Lemar in January. The German champions are reportedly scouting the 21-year-old and could move for him if the price is right. Lemar, however, will not come cheap and it could take as much as £100million to get him out of Monaco.
