Wenger moans again about ‘unfair' fixture scheduling

Arsene Wenger believes that Arsenal are not fighting on an equal front in the battle for a top-four finish because of fixture scheduling. Arsenal beat BATE Borisov on Thursday evening, and face Southampton in Sunday's early game. Wenger is no stranger to fixture congestion gripes, and believes that Arsenal should not be forced to play against teams that have had greater rest periods. 'I have nothing against the fact that we have to do that [play at 12pm on Sunday], as long as our opponents have the same recovery days,' Wenger said.
