League title droughts: Clubs ranked by longest wait to regain the title of English champions

Manchester City have all but secured the Premier League title after extending their lead at the top of the table to 11 points. Pep Guardiola’s side have been in imperious form this season – and have yet to lose a game – with the top prize in English football seemingly destined for the Etihad Stadium. City last tasted title glory in 2014 under Manuel Pellegrini and Guardiola will hope to repeat the feat in what is his second campaign at the club. But with the Citizens set to pick up the trophy, a host of clubs will see their wait for a league title stretch a little further.
