Wenger refuses to offer Auba reassurances to Lacazette

Arsene Wenger has refused to 'reassure' Alexandre Lacazette over his future at Arsenal after the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Lacazette has struggled for much of this season and many see the arrival of Aubameyang as a possible hindrance to his development. Aubameyang is certain to start every game for which he is available, while Paul Merson believes the club should have sold Lacazette instead of Olivier Giroud. Thierry Henry believes Lacazette and Aubameyang can play in the team together, and Wenger hinted that would be a possibility.
