Ostersunds scored twice in quick succession in the first half to come storming back in the tie only for Arsenal to put them out of reach early in the second. Arsenal survived a scare to progress to the next round of the Europa League, despite suffering a 2-1 defeat on the night to Ostersunds. The Gunners found themselves 2-0 down at half-time, facing a situation where conceding a third goal would have seen the tie poised for extra-time.
