WHAT HAPPENED A Beth Mead goal proved the difference for the second time this week, as we beat Everton on Friday night.   Kim Little captained the side on her first start since a long-term injury lay-off, and she almost had a perfect return when she twice went close to making the breakthrough inside the opening 30 minutes. We broke the deadlock six minutes before half-time, with a wonderful piece of control and an impressive drilled effort from Mead beating Lizzie Durack in the visitors’ goal.
