Arsenal are concerned Aaron Ramsey is running his contract down
Ramsey has less than 18 months left on his current deal and talks have begun over an extension, according to The Times. Arsenal want to avoid seeing another key player enter the final year of his contract. The Gunners failed to agree fresh terms with Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere before they entered the final 12 months of their deals. They lost Sanchez to Manchester United last month in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan before bowing to Ozil’s £300,000-a-week wage demands.
