Chris Hughton backs Arsene Wenger to stay on as Arsenal boss

Chris Hughton has backed Arsene Wenger to turn things around at Arsenal after his Brighton & Hove Albion side inflicted an eighth defeat in 13 matches on the Frenchman. Brighton prevailed 2-1 in Sunday's match at the Amex Stadium to pile further misery on Wenger, whose position is due to come under review at the end of the season. Despite growing calls for the long-serving manager to call it quits in the summer, Hughton believes that his opposite number can use all his experience to get Arsenal out of their current slump.
