GETTY Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants Real Madrid to sign at least five players in the summer. Real Madrid are having a terrible season by their own standards as they sit third in La Liga and crashed out of the Copa del Rey in the quarter-finals. Manager Zinedine Zidane is expected to have a mass shake-up of the squad at the end of the season to clear out some of the dead wood. Ronaldo has constantly asked for a pay-rise to put his wages on the same level as Barcelona rival Lionel Messi. However, president Florentino Perez thinks the money would be best spent investing in the squad so they can challenge for the title again next year.
