GETTY Joel Lopez pictured back in 2015 Barcelona’s La Masia academy has produced dozens of world class talents over a number of decades now. Lionel Messi is undoubtedly the biggest name to come out of youth set-up but there have also been a number of players who have left Barcelona to go on and make a career elsewhere. Pepe Reina and Luis Garcia both graduated from the academy and went on to forge careers outside of Spain. And there could be another set to swap the famous academy for the English top flight.
