Jack Wilshere injury news: Tony Cascarino believes Gareth Southgate will not consider taking Arsenal midfielder to the World Cup

Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino thinks Jack Wilshere will miss out on going to the World Cup because England boss Gareth Southgate cannot trust him. The Arsenal midfielder was ruled out of Friday’s game with the Netherlands earlier in the week, having picked up a minor injury. After failing to recover in time for Tuesday’s clash with Italy, Wilshere was subsequently sent home. Speaking on the Weekend Sports Breakfast, Cascarino admitted regardless of how talented Wilshere is, the 26-year-old cannot be relied on by Three Lions boss Southgate.
