Arsenal FC news: 'Staff only found out about Arsene Wenger leaving on Friday morning'
Ray Parlour has revealed Arsene Wenger's departure announcement came as a massive shock to everyone at Arsenal. The Gunners legend was at the club's training ground on Friday morning when news broke that Wenger will leave the Emirates in the summer after 22 years as manager. "It was a shock," said Parlour, speaking on talkSPORT. "I was at the training ground doing a little bit of work with a few of the players and, as I came out, they said 'have you heard the news'. It was amazing really. "He has made a statement and even the staff only found out this morning." Parlour went on to praise Wenger, with whom he won three Premier League titles and three FA Cups....
