Arsene Wenger has admitted that Shkodran Mustafi is low on confidence at present but has backed the defender to recover and enjoy a long career at Arsenal. The 26-year-old has come under fire in recent weeks after committing errors that led to goals for Southampton, CSKA Moscow, and at Newcastle United last time out. Mustafi also made a mistake in in February's EFL Cup final defeat to Manchester City, which allowed Sergio Aguero to open the scoring for a resounding 3-0 loss.
