Wenger: Elneny OK for World Cup

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Mohamed Elneny only has a small chance of returning before the end of the season but should be fit in time for the World Cup. Elneny was carried off on a stretcher on the stroke of half-time during Sunday's 4-1 win over West Ham and has suffered an ankle ligament injury. He will definitely be absent for the Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid, which gets underway at the Emirates on Thursday. Arsenal's final Premier League game of the campaign is away to Huddersfield on May 13 - and they then hope to be playing in the Europa League final on May 16.
