Journalist provides huge update in Arsenal's search for Wenger replacement

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that Luis Enrique would be interested in becoming Arsenal's new manager at the end of the season. Arsene Wenger will step down as Gunners boss this summer, and Enrique is seen as the favourite to take control of the London club heading into the 2018-19 campaign. Enrique has been on a sabbatical for a year having left Barcelona at the end of the 2016-17 season. Balague, who has close ties to Enrique, has insisted that the 47-year-old ‘would absolutely love' the opportunity to take control of the Gunners as he prepares to return to the game.
