LVG: I have an offer ‘I can't refuse' (please be Arsenal)

Arsenal fans are cowering in fear after Louis van Gaal confirmed he has received 'an offer that I think I can't refuse'. Van Gaal has been out of management since summer 2016, when he departed Manchester United after two years in charge. The Dutchman was said to have retired 'for family reasons' in January 2017, but he later confirmed that this was only a sabbatical. The 66-year-old has now alluded to a new role, adding that if he is not in work by the start of next season he will call time on his career.
