Alex Scott on playing her final home game

Sixteen years after making her first-team debut, Alex Scott made her final home appearance for us during Sunday’s 2-1 win over Manchester City. Our club captain replaced Beth Mead up front in the final minute of added time as we secured an important three points in the race for Champions League football. Scott spoke the media after the game, and this is what she said:  on the perfect ending… It was.
