Arsenal manager latest: French football expert promises fans Unai Emery will NOT be like Arsene Wenger
Arsenal are expected to name Unai Emery their new manager this week with reports on Monday claiming they want the former Paris Saint-Germain boss ahead of Mikel Arteta. Arteta appeared to be the favourite to replace Arsene Wenger at the Emirates, but issues over the north London club’s finances caused the former Gunners midfielder to reject the chance to be named a manager for the first time. Emery quickly shot to the top of Arsenal shortlist, and reports on Monday claimed a deal is all but agreed for the 46-year-old Spaniard, who worked at Sevilla, Spartak Moscow and Valencia prior to his appointment in Paris in 2016.
