Arsenal are moving quickly to improve their defence this summer and Freiburg's £35million-rated defender Caglar Soyuncu is close to becoming the Gunners' next signing.  The Turk's agent confirmed talks are progressing well between the two clubs and a deal looks increasingly likely. The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the best young defenders in the Bundesliga, having made 55 appearances since joining Freiburg in 2016. His performances have seen him linked with a move away from Germany and the Gunners' head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat, has long been an admirer.
