DONE DEAL: Patrick Vieira appointed Nice manager after leaving New York City FC

Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has been confirmed as the new manager of Ligue 1 club Nice. Vieira has taken up his first managerial role in European football after leaving Major League Soccer side New York City FC. The 41-year-old had been linked with replacing Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium following his former manager’s departure. But he has now returned to his homeland to succeed Lucien Favre at Nice, after the 60-year-old left to take over at Borussia Dortmund.
