PSG sign Aurier permanently

The Ivorian, on loan at PSG this season from their fellow Ligue 1 side, has 25 caps for the Ivory Coast, and had been linked with a move to Arsenal and Tottenham in the last 12 months. "Paris Saint-Germain is happy to announce it has triggered the option-to-buy clause for Serge Aurier. The Ivory Coast international has signed a contract with the club until June 2019," read a statement issued by the Ligue 1 leaders. Aurier shone at last year's World Cup in Brazil and helped the Ivorians win the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, and has made a total of 14 appearances for Paris this season, scoring one goal.
