West Ham United are reportedly increasingly confident that they can complete the signing of out-of-contract Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere. The 26-year-old is said to have been informed in face-to-face talks with new boss Unai Emery on Monday that the club's £100,000-a-week contract renewal will not be improved. That means a 20% pay cut for the England international, who hinted on social media last week that he is ready to bring an end to his 17-year stint with the Gunners.
