Villarreal's Santi Cazorla feels 'like a footballer again' after return to training

Santi Cazorla took part in Villarreal's first training session of the season on Monday. Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla wrote on Twitter that "he felt like a footballer again" after returning to preseason training with Villarreal. Cazorla, 33, is hoping to be fit again after missing 20 months with a right Achilles injury that required a total of 10 surgeries and a skin graft from his arm. He scored 29 goals and made 180 appearances in his six seasons at Arsenal, but left the club in May after his contract expired and returned to Villarreal, where he had two previous spells.
