Loan Watch: Nelson scores on Bundesliga debut
Three of our stars were in action for their loan clubs on Saturday - read on to find out who was involved and how they fared. Reiss Nelson scored on his Bundesliga debut as Hoffenheim slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Fortuna Dusseldorf. Alfredo Moreno opened the scoring for the hosts on the stroke of half-time, but upon the introduction of Nelson in the 72nd minute, the dynamic of the game changed and Hoffenheim soon found themselves level. Our 18-year-old winger received the ball inside the box and beat his marker with a delicate first touch, before finding the bottom right corner with a cool finish from a tight angle.
