Lacazette’s late effort for Arsenal finally stops Brentford in their tracks

It was only in stoppage time at the end of this anxious yet intriguing tie that Arsenal could truly breathe easy. Alexandre Lacazette, thrown on to ease the tension just as the home side’s authority was being eroded, leapt to nod a ball over Brentford’s back-line before sprinting clear and finishing crisply into the corner to secure progress into the fourth round.
