Ronald Koeman confident Morgan Schneiderlin will stay at Southampton

Ronald Koeman remains confident that midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will not leave Southampton at the end of the season. Reports emerged earlier today suggesting that the France international would be allowed to depart St Mary's this summer should the price be right. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be the two clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old, although Koeman expects his star midfielder, who is currently nursing an injury, to stay in place on the South Coast. Asked if he felt Schneiderlin had played his last game for the club, the Dutchman told reporters: "I don't think so. He has a contract. Nobody has a serious bid. "It's all about rumours.
