Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal 'interested in Manchester United defender Phil Jones'
Manchester United defender Phil Jones has reportedly emerged as a surprise transfer target for Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Jones's current contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of this season, although United are expected to trigger a 12-month extension clause in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer. The 26-year-old could still leave the club next summer, though, and talkSPORT reports that Arsenal and Spurs are among the interested parties.
