Reiss Nelson voted Bundesliga Rookie of the Month
Reiss Nelson has been named as the Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Month for October. Our 18-year-old winger scored three goals in three appearances for Hoffenheim, which included a game-winning brace against Nuremberg. That game was only Nelson’s second start for Julian Nagelsmann’s side this season - but he sure made it count with two goals in quick succession to secure all three points. Nelson has since scored twice more in November, meaning he’s taken his tally in the Bundesliga up to six goals. Kylian Mbappe is the only teenager to have outscored him in Europe’s top five leagues.
