The Frenchman didn’t much like it when he turned up again last night. The Polish goalkeeper’s last game for the Gunners was last season’s FA Cup final triumph against Hull. But he left for Swansea as his contract ran out, despite Wenger’s efforts to persuade him to stay, because he wanted to be the number one keeper at his club. At Arsenal, the Pole was never convincing.
