Keylor Navas ends Arsenal speculation by agreeing new Real Madrid deal

Rumoured Arsenal target Keylor Navas has ended speculation over his immediate future by agreeing a one-year extension to his Real Madrid contract. Recent reports suggested that the Gunners had made a £14m bid for the goalkeeper, although manager Unai Emery was quick to deny any interest in signing Navas. The Costa Rica international has fallen down the pecking order at Madrid since the arrival of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea last summer and was thought to be open to the idea of moving in search of more regular first-team football.
