Welbeck ruled out of United return
Arsene Wenger seems to have ruled out Danny Welbeck from Sunday's clash with Manchester United. Yesterday the manager appeared to hold out some hope that he might be recovered sufficiently from a hamstring strain to be fit to face his former club, but at his press conference today he revealed it's just a touch too soon. 'Welbeck is short a fraction for Sunday but he is not far away, he said. 'I would love to have him available but we will have to do without him.' Wenger expects Aaron Ramsey to be fit as the Gunners look to bounce back from the disappointing defeat to Swansea on Monday night.
