Morning all. Where to start eh. What I don’t understand is how Torreira received a straight red card for his challenge on Danny Rose which was as Jermaine Jenas said, a pass/tackle rather than a reckless studs up tackle when previously in the game, the same Toots player challenged Bernd Leno for the ball with all studs up and showing, didn’t. The Rose challenge/foul looked far worse to me. These referees simply can’t have a rule for one yet a different for another. Nor can I fathom why with just one job to do for ninety minutes, a linesman cannot keep up with play.
