Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal – REPORT

A late own-goal from substitute Tyler Blackett cancelled out Ander Herrera's excellent first-half volley to keep Arsenal in control of third spot. After a tentative opening 20 minutes, Manchester United began to dominate and took the lead when Ander Herrera volleyed in Ashley Young's cross at the far post. Arsenal did not muster a single shot during the first-half but were much improved after the break, going close when Giroud's shot was excellently blocked by David De Gea. The Spanish goalkeeper had to be replaced with an injury with 15 minutes remaining and his replacement Victor Valdes was soon beaten when fellow substitute Theo Walcott saw his cross deflected into the net by Tyler...
