Wenger: We are not in transfer mode

It would appear that silly season is well and truly under way. And Arsene Wenger is having none of it. Having spent last Friday's press conference playing down links with Petr Cech, the boss was again peppered with questions about potential summer transfer activity. Unsurprisingly, he remained coy on the possibility of bidding for the Chelsea keeper, as well as Liverpool's Raheem ‘Pound' Sterling and Manchester City's James Milner. 'At the moment we are not in a transfer mode,' explained Wenger. 'We want to finish our season well.
