Leonie Maier signs for Arsenal
Leonie Maier has joined us from Bayern Munich. The 26-year-old defender joined Bayern Munich back in 2013 - and during her six-year spell at the club, she lifted two Bundesliga titles in 2015 and 2016. Leonie has been capped on more than 70 occasions for Germany, helping them to win gold at the 2016 Olympics and the UEFA Women’s Championships three times over (2009, 2011, 2013).
