Internationals: Mkhitaryan stars against Sokratis

Two of our stars were in international action on Tuesday night. Read on to find out how they fared. Henrikh Mikhitaryan captained Armenia to a 3-2 win over Greece in a Euro 2020 qualifier on Tuesday night.  Alexander Karapetyan opened the scoring for Armenia in the eighth minute with an impressive finish from a tight angle, before Gevorg Ghazaryan doubled their advantage with a curling effort on the half-hour mark.  Shortly after the break Zeca pulled one back for the hosts with a low drive from the edge of the area, but in the 78th minute Armenia restored their two-goal advantage through Tigran Barseghyam.
