Arsenal stars past and present congratulate Alex Iwobi after his first goal for new club
Alex Iwobi’s Everton career has gotten off to a flyer as the Nigerian scored on his first start for the Toffees. The winger joined Everton on deadline day in a deal worth around £35m. He’s been slowly introduced into the side by Marco Silva, and before Wednesday’s clash with Lincoln City, he was limited to cameo appearances from the bench. However, he was handed an opportunity to start on Wednesday, and he didn’t pass up on the chance to impress his new gaffer.
