Montemurro on Williamson’s new role

Leah Williamson delivered another midfield masterclass on Sunday as we cruised to a 4-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.  The England international starred at the heart of our defence during our title-winning 2018/19 season - but she’s since been pushed forward into midfield, tasked with shielding our backline and kickstarting attacks.  So why has she excelled in her new role?
