Afternoon all. A lot of fuss is being made of the spat between Sterling and the bloke from Liverpool which apparently spilled over from Anfield into the England dressing room. I’m not entirely sure Southgate was right to drop Sterling because of it because all he’s done is stoke a simmering fire which the England fans latched onto the other night. Still, Pep will be pleased because his player had a night off and his player was the one fans supported. I’d have played them both after banging their heads together.
