Unai Emery's position has never been more under threat than it is right now. The Spaniard has proven to be an underwhelming appointment, displaying a poorer win ratio than Arsène Wenger’s darkest days. In his first 50 games as Arsenal manager, Emery has won 25 games, two fewer than Wenger’s last 50 games at the club. Somehow, with a £209.29 milliion investment across several windows, the 48-year-old has managed to make Arsenal worse. At least in Wenger’s days Arsenal looked decent going forward whilst leaking goals at the back; now they can’t do either.
