Bobby Reid and Tom Cairney found the net inside the opening 15 minutes to give the Cottagers a two-goal lead, before Aleksandr Mitrovic made it 3-0 after just 31 minutes. Smith Rowe then struck back for Huddersfield, turning the ball in from close range after darting into the penalty area from the right-hand side.
