Miedema – We made a 180-degree turn at half time

Vivianne Miedema was at her clinical best on Thursday night, scoring twice to help us secure a valuable 3-2 win over Liverpool on the road. Coming into this fixture, the Netherlands international was on a goal drought by her own lofty standards, having gone four Women’s Super League games without a goal - but that didn’t last long as she made it 1-1 with an instinctive finish on the half-hour mark, before climbing high inside the area to head home a late winner.
