How have I got to where I am today? In the same way that I defend: with hard work, passion and by facing every challenge head-on. I think that’s how I’ve tried to approach life. I don’t think I’ve always been that way, but I’ve learned enough about myself over the last few years to know it’s the best way for me to approach every challenge.  There’s that question: why do so many teenage girls step out of sport when they get to a certain age?
