Kieran Tierney admits Arsenal plan flopped against Man City on return to action

Kieran Tierney has admitted that nothing really went to plan for Arsenal in their return to Premier League action at Manchester City on Wednesday night. The Gunners were playing their first competitive game for over three months due to the coronavirus outbreak and were handed a tough opener against the current champions. Mikel Arteta’s team actually went into the Etihad contest unbeaten in the Premier League this calendar year and were hoping to chase down an unlikely Champions League spot.
