Arsenal legend Kenny Sansom ‘walking and talking’ as he recovers from attack

Former Arsenal defender Kenny Sansom is making strides in his recovery from a brutal beating and is now able to walk and talk once again. Sansom himself cannot remember the attack in Exeter, with police reportedly questioning a 60-year-old man about the attack, on April 7. The 61-year-old, who won 86 caps for England and played 394 games for Arsenal, has had well-publicised problems with alcoholism and gambling. Despite his encouraging, Sansom now progress faces months of treatment for injuries he sustained in the attack after a booze session with friends.
