Arsenal could make Community Shield even if they lose FA Cup semi-final

Arsenal could be asked to take on Liverpool at Wembley in the 2020 Community Shield. The Gunners take on Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at the national stadium next Saturday, but they could return in August whatever the result. The standalone fixture traditional puts the Premier League winners against the cup champions, but City could have other commitments should they go on to lift the trophy. Should both City and Manchester United reach the Champions League and Europa League finals respectively, they would not be able to prepare for the clash at the end of August.
