Arsenal agree deal in principle for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes?
Arsenal reportedly have an agreement in place with Lille for in-demand central defender Gabriel Magalhaes. The 22-year-old has been given the green light to depart the Stade Pierre Mauroy this summer if the right offer is made. A number of clubs have showed an interest in the Brazilian defender, with Napoli rumoured to have been on the brink of signing him as a direct replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly. Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are also believed to be weighing up bids, but The Telegraph claims that Arsenal are now closing in on the signing of Gabriel in a deal worth around £27m.
